About the book

Building legacy of farms under Kepa, Košuta, Obirje, Pristovški Storžič and Peca. The book discusses farmhouses in the Karavanken Mountains on both sides of the mountain range. Especially detailed is the building tradition Sel (Zell). It gives us a complete overview of typological characteristics of buildings on the rounded off areas of the Karavanken Mountains - from Rateče to Mežiška dolina on the Slovene side of the Karavanken Mountains and from Rute and Slovenji Plajberk to Sela and Obirsko on the Carinthian side of the mountain range. The book wants to contribute as much as possible to a better knowledge and understanding of cultural legacy of the neighbours on both sides of the frontier in the Karavanken Mountains. The book is available in German language.
