About the book

The small, tiny but beautifully adorned Spanish princess is a special little girl. She lives in a magnificent castle, but is incredibly bored ... Her mommy and daddy, the queen and the king, are visiting Ptolomena II, the queen from the neighboring country, and the princess is very lonely in the castle on a very special day – her birthday. She chats with the chambermaid Carmen, watches the traveling musician dance for her, observes the painter at work; everybody is busy with something but nobody give the princess a chance to create something herself. She is so rich that she cannot even peel her own apple, let alone saddle her horse which is her big birthday wish. So she runs away. She meets different people: an old lady selling bread rolls, an evil merchant, a beggar ... Does the princess find the horse she is looking for? Yes, she does.
