About the book

The second picture book from the new collection Marjetice. The collection presents well-known tales from the Slovenian folk tradition. It is decorated with excellent illustrations by Marjana Šegula - Miš who knows how to win children's hearts with lovely, colorful and witty creations. The small white snake with the crown is an Upper Carniolan tale from Podbrezje. It is a mysterious story about children who take good care of the little snake, which in return brings them wealth.
