About the book
Srečko the bunny lives happily in a little spruce forest. One day, the cunning fox and the always hungry wolf decide to turn him into a delicious roast. They lay out a fake carrot for him. Srečko breaks his tooth on it and cannot eat at all anymore. He nearly starves to death. But among the residents of the forest is luckily also the lady dentist Lucija who fixes Srečko’s tooth and thus saves his life. The author Sanja Lucija Pečnik is a dentist. Through this friendly story about Srečko the bunny she wants to let children know that there is nothing about dentists they need to fear and that they should visit him regularly. Fearlessly to the dentist! The book has been awarded the prestigious literary award Izvirna slovenska slikanica – nomination!
