About the book

Everest is an exciting story of the author's life which at the same time represents a large part of the most epic era of Slovene  expeditions to the Himalayas. A particularly valuable part of the book is Grošelj's personal view, who at the beginning of his climbing career could only see the mountains and his own targets on them, but eventualy became more interested in the  people he meets on his path. In his mature years he has added a more humanitarian note to his own personal guidelines through life.  Published at the 30th anniversary of the first Slovene cimb to the top of Mount Everest.
