About the book
In the earliest years, when the class level of primary schools is developing child's personality, we should be particularly attentive to the child's success in school. This monography is dedicated to addressing school performance at the beginning of school, and opens up new routes, how to improve it. Attention was devoted to the study of the child during the period of late childhood, that is between 6 and 11 years of age. In the first part there is the presentation of current scientific evidence on the role of physical activity on the child's emotional, social, cognitive and physical development. We did a review of existing studies in this area. The data were searched in the databases, Web of Science, Proquest, Science Direct, and Taylor and Francis Group. Expected, we found that the studies are concentrated overwhelmingly on the role of motor activities in the physical and motor development, followed by knowledge about the links between motor activity and cognitive development. Science has proven that in the cognitive development of motor activity affect the development of intelligence, and the basic mental skills.
