About the book

Tine Mihelič presents us with a book that he, in his own words, had been carrying inside him for a long time. The Andes and the conquering of its peaks were his childhood dreams that he has managed to fulfill. In the book, he describes in detail the ascents to Cordilliera Blanca, Chacraraju, Alpamayo, the Royal, Condor and other mountain ranges, as well as the feelings taking over him during his climbs. It is written in a pleasant, chatty tone and is therefore also interesting for those, to whom conquering summits is not a so called everyday chore. It is enriched with beautiful photographic material that brings the “white tops of the green continent” almost so close you can touch it.
